Finding sustainable coffee packaging solutions is a complex challenge, as most plastic packaging, despite its versatility, causes significant environmental problems. Paper packaging may be biodegradable, but it requires immense amounts of water and energy to produce and contributes to deforestation. Compostable plastics made from renewable raw materials do not always decompose under normal environmental conditions and require special composting facilities. Glass is infinitely recyclable, but its high weight increases transport emissions and the energy costs for production and recycling. So the perfect packaging does not yet exist.

We use the most sustainable option for adequate coffee packaging

Our innovative monoplastic packaging offers a promising answer to the challenges of sustainability. Monoplastic consists of only one type of plastic, which makes it more recyclable. Unlike composite materials, which consist of several layers of different materials and have to be laboriously separated, monoplastic can be recycled directly and without additional steps. This uncomplicated recycling process leads to a higher purity of the recycled material and improves its reusability and quality.

In addition, monoplastic reduces sorting costs and simplifies waste management because no complex separation processes are required. In a closed loop, monoplastic can be recycled again and again and processed into new packaging, which significantly reduces the need for new raw materials and minimizes the environmental impact of plastic production. This circular economy makes a decisive contribution to conserving resources and significantly reduces the amount of waste.

Our monoplastic packaging is therefore one of the best ways to combine sustainability and efficiency in the packaging industry. It offers an environmentally friendly alternative that makes both ecological and economic sense and helps to create a more sustainable future.

Our packaging is optimal for the aroma

Our packaging is opaque so that no light can affect the coffee. The aroma valve lets roasting gases out and no oxygen in. This means that the coffee loses a minimal amount of aroma. The zipper means that the packaging can be hermetically sealed again after each opening, meaning the coffee retains its aroma better and for longer.

Our promise

As sustainable as possible. We are not scientists and we are not sustainability researchers. We have to be realistic. We will not be the ones to find the ultimate sustainable solution in the area of packaging.

But what our contribution should be:

We will always follow science and research and strive to use the most sustainable packaging options. We are committed to continuously optimizing our packaging solutions based on new research findings in order to make them as environmentally friendly as possible.

The principle:

Sustainability is not just a goal, but a commitment. We strive to use the latest technologies and materials to minimize the ecological footprint of our packaging. Today, this means conserving resources, increasing recycling rates and using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. Through these efforts, we not only want to improve the quality and functionality of our packaging, but also make a significant contribution to protecting our environment.
